I just love the perspective here - I can't quite make sense of it, but that's half the charm. I KNOW the lily pads and blossom must be floating or at least projecting just above the surface of the water, but it almost looks as if they are a hanging plant or falling. Tones and light are gorgeous, too.

Hi Nikolyn - I agree with you I was transfixed with the way the plants looked in the water - they must have just been put into the pool and the leaves hadn't risen to the surface yet so have the sense of appearing to fall. And then with the "black water" it makes it all so surreal. This was at the Royal Botanical Gardens which is located near me.
