A summer scene of hostas and natural sculptures in the Sunnylea garden in August in front of the Corkscrew Hazel.
This was a few years ago, and these beautiful willow cones are now departed to the earth. Willow isn't long-lasting, but it is wonderful while it is with us.
As I look at the photo, I can see the Arisaema Hugo leaves on the right. This plant is still with me in the back garden and bloomed spectacularly this year with double Jack-in-the-Pulpits - perfectly timed for a garden tour.
