This was found one of the donation boxes around Toronto - I think this was at Bloor West - the rust appears in the same location on all the boxes, and the results have been landscapes of simplicity and elegance. Turquoise is such an interesting colour that contrasts with the rust.
I am a gardener and photographer living in Grimsby in the heart of the Niagara Peninsula, amongst vineyards and orchards, and of course, the great Niagara Escarpment which makes Niagara Falls. We have a rich visual world. I look to bring out beauty in the ordinary. I am attracted to flowers and gardens, but also to peeling paint and rust where abstracts can be created.
